Internet Tee Time Reservation System Frequently Asked Questions
Booking Tee TimesDo I have to login to book a tee time?The reservation system does not require you to login to book a
tee time, however there are several benefits if you do. Reserving a tee
time while logged in will be tracked in your reservation history. If
the golf course allows tee times to be canceled online, you will be able to cancel
a tee time booked while logged in. In addition, all forms required to
reserve a tee time will be completed for you, saving you a great amount
of effort every time you book a tee time. I booked a tee time that I need to cancel. Can I cancel this online?Online tee time cancellations are allowed at the discretion of
the golf course. If the golf course chooses to allow a tee time to be canceled online,
a cancel button will appear next to the reservation when
you do a search of your reservation history. To access your reservation history, log into your account and
click on the “My Profile” button in the top-right. Your
reservation history is displayed on the bottom of the page. If the golf course does not
allow tee times to be canceled online, you must call the golf course directly.
Be sure to check with the course policies on tee time cancellations to
assure that all policies are followed correctly. Can I see all of the tee times I have booked online?Reservation history can be viewed in the “My
Profile” section of your online profile. Only tee times booked
while logged into your profile account will be displayed in the
history. To access your reservation history, log into your account and
click on the “My Profile” button in the top-right. Your
reservation history is displayed on the bottom of the page. Why should I check the "Inform me of future offers" checkbox when booking a tee time?Fore! Reservations will never solicit your demographic
information to third parties. By checking the "Inform me of future
offers" checkbox while reserving a tee time, you are agreeing to
receive emails from the specific course from where you are reserving a
tee time. Emails from the course usually contain valuable information
and news from the golf course in addition to special offers and
promotions. Fore! Reservations is not responsible for how each golf
course handles your email. I've booked a twosome, how can I add one or two more to my party?In order to add individuals to a previously booked
reservation, you must book another reservation at the same course and
time. For example say you booked a twosome on the Fore! National - 18
Holes Golf Course at 8:00 am. If you wanted to add another twosome, you
must book another reservation for 2 on the Fore! National - 18 Holes
Golf Course at 8:00 am. When doing this make sure that the second
reservation is on the exact same course, for example Fore! National
Golf Course may offer tee times on their 9-hole and 18-hole golf
course, and that the reservation is for the same time as the first. It
may be best to contact the course to verify that the second reservation
was accurate. Why do I sometimes get "Course communications have been down since..." when trying to search for tee times?The reservation system requires an Internet connection to the
golf course to assure accurate and timely online reservations. In
certain cases, a particular course may have lost their Internet
connection or have not shut down their reservation system properly.
When this occurs you will be alerted that communications to the course
are down and you are prevented from booking a tee time. You will notice
that when this happens the course phone number is listed which you can
call to reserve a tee time over the phone. It may be helpful to alert
the course that their communications are down in order for them to
alleviate the problem as soon as possible. Why do I receive two confirmation emails after booking a tee time?When you successfully book a tee time through the reservation
system you will receive an automated message confirming the
reservation. This message is immediately sent from reservations@teeitup.com
to acknowledge your tee time. The golf course sends a more personalized
message containing information specific to the golf course. This
message may be delayed depending on the golf course e-mail
configuration. Please do not be alarmed that two confirmations are sent
as this is done by design. When I showed up to the course they couldn't find my tee time, what do I do?In rare cases, the golf course may not receive notification
that your online tee time was made. This usually occurs because the
reservation system was not started or stopped properly at the golf
course. Anytime you successfully book a tee time online you will be
presented with a confirmation page, listing the reservation details and
a confirmation number. This confirmation will also be emailed to the
address given at the time of booking. It is always good practice to
print out the confirmation page and bring it to the golf course at the
time of check in. Why do I sometimes get "Golf course is unable to accept online cancellations at this time..." when trying to cancel a tee time?In some rare cases, the online reservation system will be
unable to process your cancellation request. If you receive this
message it is possible your cancellation request may not have been
received by the golf course. If you receive this message, call the golf
course to cancel the tee time over the phone. Using ProfilesI forgot my password. How can I get a new one?From the profile login page, click on the “Forgot
Password?” link just under the password input box. You will be
presented with a new page which asks you to enter the email address you
registered with your profile with. Just input your email address and
click the “Send Instructions” button. An email will be sent
to your address with a link which will allow you to change your
password. Note that the link within the email will only be valid for 24
hours. For security purposes your credit card information will be reset
once you change your password. My credit card information has been removed from my profile, where did it go?Your credit card information will be reset under particular
circumstances. Anytime you reset or change your password your credit
card information will be reset. In addition, if you change your email
or login name your credit card information will also be reset. This is
done as a precautionary measure to protect your information. You may
add credit card information by logging into your profile and clicking
on the “My Profile” button in the top-right. You will find
a section which displays your credit card information and the option to
update this information. Why can I use my profile at one course but not another? They both use Fore! Reservations to book online tee times.The use of profiles with Internet bookings is a premium option
that each course must purchase. You can use your profile at any golf
course that uses Fore! Reservations and have purchased the profile
option. If you cannot use your profile at a particular course that uses
Fore! Reservations to book tee times online, it is likely they have not
purchased the profile option. You may want to request your golf course
to purchase this option as it will be beneficial to both the golf
course and yourself. Your PrivacyWhat is done with my personal data?Fore! Reservations respects your privacy and will never
solicit your information to third parties. Your information is stored
securely on our servers and is only saved for your convenience. When
you book a tee time your demographic information is submitted to the
golf course at which your reservation was made. Fore! Reservations is
not responsible for the information once the course receives it. Why do you collect my credit card information?This depends on what type of tee time you are booking: Why do the booking pages appear non secure sometimes?The Fore! Reservations bookings page are sometimes "framed" into a golf course's web page. This is like having two browser windows in one, but you cannot see the address bar of the "framed" browser which is the window that displays the "https" and security lock. To verify that the framed window is transmitting using the
secure protocol, right click in the frame where credit card information
is required and select Properties. In the address line, you will see
that the address for the framed page is an "https" address. The page
will also display the connection type which uses SSL with 128 bit
encryption. Does Fore! Reservations have a privacy policy?Yes. You
